The radiofrequency technology heats fat cells and compromises fat cell viability; this effect is maximized by the different underlying muscle contractions stimulated by HIFEM leading to increased tissue metabolism.

EMSCULPT Neo can be combined with many other therapies. On arrival at Montrose
Following a review of your initial consultation to discuss areas of concern and a review of your medical history, the aesthetician will propose a treatment plan focusing on key body areas to achieve your aims. The aesthetician will apply two pads to the treatment areas, these will stimulate your muscles which will feel like your muscles are tensing and relaxing. Where radiofrequency is used, the area will also heat up. During the treatment, your aesthetician will ask whether you wish for them to stay in the room or provide you with privacy. Each of the sessions takes approximately 30 minutes and the exact number of sessions required will be determined by your aesthetician at the initial consultation.
Results
Patients normally see small improvements after each session but the best results of treatment occur 12 weeks after the last session of the course.
The treatment is unsuitable for:
- Patients who are pregnant
- Patients who are breastfeeding
- Patients who have a copper coil
