VAMPIRE FACIAL®
Short Summary
A vampire facial is a natural solution to rejuvenate the face, boost collagen and provide a younger complexion. Micro-needling is first delivered to help stimulate collagen production. A blood sample is then taken to isolate platelet rich plasma (PRP), which contains a wealth of growth factors and is applied to the skin for a long-lasting, natural effect.Key Information

A Vampire facial employs micro-needling which helps boost and stimulate collagen production. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is then applied to the skin and penetrates down micro-needling tracks to provide essential growth factors for rejuvenated skin.
A vampire facial is the natural solution to healthier and revitalised skin. It is extremely effective, but further tone and lifting can be achieved with Morpheus8. A healthy complexion is aided by Profhilo® skin booster and medical grade skin care. A younger complexion can be achieved with Botox®, to relax fine lines in the upper face.

Prior to arrival at Montrose
If you are prone to outbreaks of cold sores, you should discuss this with your practitioner as you might benefit from a course of antiviral medication before and after your micro-needling.
A week before treatment stop all use of irritant topical products (Acids, Retinol, Vitamin C or scrubs)
If you are taking blood thinners, or NSAIDs such as Asprin or Ibuprofen you should discuss with your physician whether it is possible to discontinue their use whilst you are treated with the Vampire Facial®.
On arrival at Montrose
On arrival at Montrose, our team will assist in the removal of any makeup. One of our plastic surgeons or dermatologists will undertake an initial consultation to understand any of your concerns and to review your medical history, after which the treatment area will be photographed. Numbing cream is applied for at least 45 minutes and following that micro-needling is delivered to the face.
A blood sample is taken from the arm, and spun down to isolate PRP. It is then applied to the face to provide its host of growth factors, which are massaged into the micro-needling tracks.
Results
Results appear from 3 days, when micro-needling points settle. The skin will be quite pink/red for the first few hours after treatment and a minute amount scabbing may be present for the first day or two.
